MEMOTONEWS - Early Thursday (15/4/2021) hundreds of Banjarnegara Main Market traders whose kiosks caught fire began occupying the emergency market in the Soemitro Kolopaking Stadium complex, in Parakancanggah, Banjarnegara.
The “boyongan” procession ran in an orderly manner, under the coordination of the Banjarnegara Regency Government through the Industry and Trade Cooperative Agency-UKM, the Transportation Service, and the Satpol PP.
Head of the Department of Industry and Trade, Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises of Banjarnegara Regency, through the Head of Market, Hari Arumbinuko, said that since 1 o'clock in the morning, the apparatus was ready at the emergency market location.
The market condition, which was built semi-permanently, is already busy with traders, who are getting ready to occupy their new kiosks by lottery.
He explained that the traders who occupied the emergency market were victims of fire in the indu market, including: 417 traders on the second floor of the main market, 10 meat traders' plots, and 160 ped plots.
“Alhamdulillah, overall the transfer was safe and smooth. "Traders occupy the kiosks and booths according to the results of the draw which are determined in an orderly manner," he said.
Hari added, the number of stalls and those that were burnt during the main market fire were approximately 205 stalls and 433 stalls on the first floor. and approximately 116 kiosks and 856 booths on the second floor. Most of the owners of the stalls and booths that burned were willing to move to the emergency market.
“We make efforts to socialize it verbally to traders either at kiosks, stalls or rallies. Thankfully, almost all want to occupy the emergency market in this stadium, "he explained.
The Regent of Banjarnegara, Budhi Sarwono, was happy that finally traders were able to occupy the emergency market.
"Congratulations on occupying, hopefully a blessing. Even though in the emergency market, let's still be grateful that in this fasting month, we can still find sustenance, ”said the regent.
Previously, after going through various considerations, the Banjarnegara Regency Government established the construction of an emergency market for the victims of the Banjarnegara Morning Market fire in the Soemitro Kolopaking Stadium yard. The stadium complex is considered the most adequate because it has good access, its location is also wide and can accommodate all traders.
One of the traders from Purwanegara, Bu Rusmi, said that she was happy to finally be "established" selling. He hopes that in the emergency market his customers will remain loyal.
“Hopefully blessed trade here, thank you to the regent and the government who have provided a place for us, "he said, who sells this traditional food.
The emergency market is built semi-permanently in the form of raised beds. The kiosk is about 2x2 square meters in size and a booth about 1.5 x 2 square meters.
The building material uses wooden planks with a zinc roof. As planned, the emergency market was completed in one month. Approximately 980 traders affected, ready to look for sustenance on this new land. (*).
