Serayu River is an integral part of our society, said Banjarnegara Deputy Head H Syamsudin


MEMOTONEWS - The Serayu River which divides the City of Banjarnegara, Central Java, is an integral part that cannot be separated from the community along the river. 

Therefore, we as a society have our obligation to care for it. Moreover, the need for water is very important for all living things.

This was conveyed by the Deputy Regent of Banjarnegara H Syamsudin while attending an action to care for the environment carried out to commemorate 24 Years, Esmega or SMA Negeri I Sigaluh, Tuesday.

H Syamsudin gave his appreciation to SMA Negeri I Sigaluh which has concern for the preservation of Serayu River. 
 "So far, many of our people don't care about rivers, hopefully this activity will be an inspiration or motivation for other elements in Banjarnegara," hoped Syamsudin.

Because only with this activity, caring for the environment, the sustainability of the river can be maintained throughout the ages. He considered that what the school was doing could inspire and spark enthusiasm .

"Talking about the environment, talking about life. From this school we learn to have a high sensitivity to the environment by maintaining and caring for it for the sake of natural balance and sustainability.

The Vice Regent hopes that such activities can continue to be carried out to further encourage the realization of Banjarnegara into a conservation district.

 A similar sentiment was also conveyed by the General Manager of PLTA Mrica Bawang, Slamet Suwardi. Slamet Suwardi is here to provide support to stake holders at the school because the preservation of Serayu River water will have an impact 
Separately, the Principal of SMA Negeri 1 Sigaluh, Ibnu Rohadi, said that at the peak of the anniversary this time his school chose to celebrate by taking environmental action. Activities that are.

"The theme of this 24th Anniversary celebration is Love the Earth to Continue to Survive the Pandemic. Although in the midst of a pandemic, environmental conservation efforts must be carried out, we want to protect and care for the earth for the sake of health.

Ibnu also conveyed that his school anniversary was close to World Water Day. Therefore, his party also held an action to clean the river and spread fish seeds so that the river remains  nor the life.
