Acting Director of Perumda Owabong Drs Eko Susilo revealed that the new rides 'Goles' are in the form of jumping slides and track slides.
Jumping slide consists of 2 sliding towers. The first tower is 12 meters high and the second is 6 meters long with a track length of approximately 18 meters. While the track slide has a track length of 22 meters
“Its uniqueness is that it is a jumping slide, so after someone slides the sensation is just like someone jumping. The slide track can be used for children," he said.
While the jumping slide pool measures 1 x 14 meters and a depth of 2 meters. Thus, this jumping slide is only intended for those who can already swim.
"It's also possible that in Central Java there has only been a jumping slide like this in Purbalingga," he said.
He explained that the name Gombang Leleson means Gombang which is taken from the name of a local spring called 'Naga Gombang' which never dries and always flows.
While Leleson is the name of the rides that already existed at the previous Owabong Waterpark which included warm water pools, fish therapy pools, and so on.
Purbalingga Regent Dyah Hayuning Pratiwi SE BEcon MM revealed that it had been 2 years since Perumda Owabong had not deposited Regional Original Revenue (PAD) during the Covid-19 pandemic.
"Stay optimistic, keep the spirit because whatever it takes, there needs to be creative steps, innovation steps are needed, and today this step to increase Perumda Owabong's income has been carried out.This is a good thing. Hopefully this will become an attraction for tourists, including homecomers, "said the Regent.
The Regent advised that Owabong as an artificial tourist attraction is expected to pay attention to the safety side and standard operational procedure (SOP). This is to avoid unwanted events
